Father's day over here in England (and I think the US?), so happy Father's day all! :) Highly slacky day, considering going for a walk a bit later once my dinner has settled though. So a slightly brief post this time.

My other half loves having a cooked breakfast on Sunday morning. He stayed in bed until 12 today as he didn't sleep too well so thought that I'd cheer him up a bit by making cooked breakfast for him (and as lunch for me). I absolutely hate the taste of pork so I substituted the bacon with some grilled tomatoes and beetroot. Yum.




In a way I feel so guilty for having that slice of cake as I'm really trying to cut down on all unnecessary food for a while. But then again, you've got to let yourself enjoy a bit of something sweet every now and then. :)

Well. Not quite what I was expecting this week! :D I haven't exercised at all because of my ankle, I've only done the squat challenge four times over the week. It just really shows how important your diet is when losing weight. :) And I'm sure intermittent fasting has got something to do with it as well.

Next week is going to be a bit iffy again, my other half booked me a last minute weekend trip to Netherlands to celebrate my friend's birthday. In a way it's a good thing, my friend LOVES dancing so might burn some of that booze on the dance floor... :D I think I'll be quite ok in all fairness, with my monthly progress check being on Sunday / Monday. 

So yeah, like I mentioned in the previous post we had a little gathering today. It was to celebrate a close family friend's 50th birthday, and you know, there was cake. It was a very cool 2CV cake with all the detailing, on top of looking very cool it was really nice. All the icing was rather sickly though and it hit me about halfway through eating the slice on my plate. :D


My other half decided to take pictures of me as well. Was just happily leaning on the kitchen counter, listening to his family talk about something, and I noticed him grabbing my camera. I was actually pretty happy with what I looked like in em, so here you go! :D My face looks a bit derp but you know, can't win em all.


And that's my only pair of tights as well. And I ruined them about 30 minutes after taking this picture. :D We were getting ready to have dinner, I sat down at the dinner table and scratched my knee on this bit of metal under the table. So now I need to go shopping for more stuff. Curses.

And the rest of the day will be spent just doing absolutely nothing. :D
